Having been with Town Point Club since 1999, my background in the hospitality industry spans 20 years—including serving as manager for several fine dining establishments, Director of Food and Beverage at Lake Lanier Islands Resort and Vice President of Food and Beverage at Pinehurst Resort.
I attended the University of Georgia and acquired a Masters in Business Administration at the Georgia Southern University as well. Combining my educational and professional experiences, I became part of the ClubCorp family in 1999 and have enjoyed every moment since.
I spend my time outside of work watching the Bulldogs play and spending quality time with my son.

Since 2002, when I first joined ClubCorp, I have been delighted to serve as a Private Event Director in our Golf and Country Club Division and a Regional Sales and Membership Director in our Business and Sports Club Division. Prior to joining the ClubCorp Family, I spent 14 years in the Hospitality industry at various properties and in various capacities.
After graduating from Virginia Tech and working several years for the University, I decided the Hampton Roads area and family was where I wanted to be permanently located, resulting in me joining ClubCorp. I have two fabulous children, Madison and Cameron, and absolutely love being involved in all their extracurricular activities. With four generations of family living locally in Chesapeake, I can’t help but be active with them all!
As your Membership Director, my role has been to exercise my strengths in membership management and business development – with end goals to grow, sustain and improve our membership. It is very important to me that we continue to strive towards a diverse and active Club Membership to keep our Club healthy. Via an ability to quickly understand the nature of one’s business, I’m driven to help others capture, network and execute new opportunities in clear, concise and understandable terms.

Amanda is a new addition to our team! She joined the Club in the beginning of February 2019 as the Private Events Manager.
She brings over 10 years of Operations experience in the Special Events world and has a Bachelors in Travel & Tourism Management from Hawaii Pacific University (Honolulu, HI).
Amanda is eager to breakthrough on the planning side of events and grow in the private business sector of hospitality. Being married to a Coast Guard member has given her the opportunity to travel the country and gain extensive knowledge by working in multiple different venues and settings. She has experience in restaurants, resorts, country clubs, sporting arenas and catering companies.
When she is not helping others reach their goals by planning the perfect event, she is off being a loving mom to her sweet little boy and cute little dog!

Sydney joined the Club in November 2017 as the Private Events Coordinator and was promoted to Private Events Director in May 2018.
Sydney is a graduate of Appalachian State University (Boone, NC) with Bachelor's Degrees in both Hospitality & Tourism Management and Marketing. She brings over 9 years of creating unforgettable experiences in the hotel and resort industry to the Club. Sydney has worked in multiple properties across Alabama, North Carolina, and Virginia before joining the private sector hospitality industry at Town Point Club.
When Sydney is not planning events at the Club, she enjoys spending time with her 2 furbabies and loved ones, playing tennis, crafting, and traveling!
Her role as Private Events Director is to help create successful and memorable experiences for Members and guests. From corporate meetings and educational seminars to milestone occasions, the private events department is here to assist you every step of the way!

Chef Eddie Lee, who most recently served as Executive Chef for Cavalier Hotel Properties for several years, cut his teeth in the country club and hotel communities in the early 1990s from Virginia Beach to Washington, D.C. & Miami, and back to Virginia. First appointed Executive Chef of the Shula’s 347 Steakhouse concept. Chef Eddie Lee is an award winning Chef with various accolades, awards and reviews, including 2011’s Chef of the Year by the National Tourism Week Awards.
Chef Eddie Lee enjoys bringing local and seasonal ingredients together and taking care of that most important Member, you! From Farm to Fork with the incredible local produce Virginia has to offer to of course the local seafood, Fish to Fork.
When not at the Club, Chef enjoys hanging out in his “backyard” the beach & bay and great family time.
