"My wife and I played Willow Creek the first day that it opened back in 2005, when they only had 9 holes ready to play for a few weeks. We decided to join after last year’s golf outing and saw how professional it was run with the new management team. The service and attention that is received is what you would expect at a private club, paying a lot of money to be a member at. A nice feature is that you can make tee times three weeks in advance and there is no restaurant assessment. This year, my wife started the “Willow Creek Ladies League” and it is growing nicely for the first year. The Ladies play every Thursday morning and are always looking for new members. The grill room is very nice with a friendly and courteous staff. We have found that the Management staff has made a huge difference in the club over the last couple of years. They are a great team that provide top shelf service. The entire staff of the Pro Shop, dining facilities, golf course etc., are a well-trained and courteous team who make the experience at Willow Creek a memorable one…all of the time. At the end of the day if you want to join a non-private club where you get treated as if it were a private club and not pay private club prices, you should consider Willow Creek. Good luck and hope to meet you at the Club or on the course."
"My foursome has enjoyed a Sunday morning reserved tee time with Willow Creek at 6:42am for the last several years. During this time, the course conditions have been consistently excellent. The bunkers are always raked, the tee boxes in great shape, the fairways pure and the greens fast but fair for the average player. Our group previously attended Middle Country for 7 years, and Pine Hills for 5 years. We've been playing Long Island private, semi-private and public courses for 25 years. Additionally during that time, we've enjoyed golf trips every year to Pine Hurst North Carolina, Florida, Arizona, Myrtle Beach and this year Las Vegas. We've played over 100 courses. Personally, I've played Winged Foot, Old Westbury, Garden City CC, Tam O'Shanter, many private, semi-private and public courses. I can confidently say Willow Creek, it's Clubhouse and restaurant is better than the majority and compares well against the others. Without question, Willow Creek's greatest asset is its employee's. A professional staff who goes out of their way to improve and enhance the overall experience of playing a course is invaluable."
