Three Championship Golf Courses

Brookhaven Country Club offers 54 holes of championship Dallas golf across three courses. All three courses were designed by Press Maxwell in 1957, with the exception of the signature course, the Masters Golf Course, which was redesigned by Jeff Brauer. Maxwell was known as an architect for his well-contoured, challenging greens. His ability to create sophisticated green structures lead him to become highly regarded in the golf architecture world.

Exciting Championship Course Improvement Project

Our mission is not only to elevate the visual appeal of the Championship Course but also to maintain its exceptional condition consistently throughout the year.

The renovation plan involves a comprehensive revamp of the greens and collars of the Championship Course, incorporating a variety of technical enhancements.

The scope for the renovation project includes:

  • New Greens Drainage System: Implementation of a state-of-the-art drainage system.
  • USGA Spec Greens Mix: Utilization of a specialized mix adhering to USGA standards.
  • TifEagle Bermuda Surface: Seamless integration with the property's existing courses for a consistent profile.
  • Brand-New TifTuf Collars: A flawless transition from green to fairway/rough areas.
  • Aggressive Fairway and Tee Leveling Technique: Implementation of fraize-mowing for precise leveling. 
  • Selective Green Edges Enhancement: Targeted sod installation on Masters addressing any and all greens concerns coming out of winter.
  • Cart Path Upgrades: Replacement of key areas on the cart paths to enhance overall aesthetics.

The Master's Course

Brookhaven’s signature course is the Master’s Course, designed by Press Maxwell and then renovated in the early 1990s by Jeff Brauer. The course is both challenging and fair but is considered the most difficult of the three.

As you make your way around the course, you'll encounter a variety of shot-making opportunities, from tee shots that require precision to approaches that demand finesse, all while navigating strategically placed bunkers and water hazards.

The President’s Course
