NCGA Zone Championship Qualifier
NCGA Zone Qualifier Make the finals of the NCGA Zone Championship and find yourself representing Granite Bay Golf Club at Poppy Hills in August, 2024. We are holding a qualifier to highlight the team headed forward from GB and we are excited to see who comes out on top. This event is a 4 person best ball event using 2 best balls of the 4. All players will get 85% of their handicaps. Format: 2 best ball of a team foursome. Teams: 4 person teams, must have an established handicap and be members of Granite Bay Golf Club Handicaps: 85% of your course handicap. Maximum handicaps for Men, 18.4 and Women, 25.4. Date & Time: Tee times starting at 9 a.m., April 20th, 2024. Tees: Course conditions/length will closely match length courses played for the finals. Entry Fee: $25 per person. Entry includes carts and Granite Bay Golf Club will pay the entry for winning team into the Zone Championship. Eligibility: Men and/or Women. Limited and Full Golf Members. LGA Two Net Best Ball of the Foursome
It's Two Best Balls of the 4-some. You can pick your team. This is a net event where everyone plays their own ball and you pick the two lowest net scores and that is your team score for that hole. Repeat this process for all 18 holes. The lowest score wins. Please note who you would like on your team in the notes sections. If you don't have a team, the golf shop will pair you with some new friends. Please sign up by Noon on Monday. Pairings will be send out by 5 p.m. If you sign up after noon on Monday, you will tee off in the back of the field. We will all start at 9:00 a.m. with a forward shotgun start. This means that we will start on holes, 1,2,3,4, etc. based on the number of ladies that sign up. If you were to start on hole #4, you would play 4-18 and then go to the first hole to play holes 1-3.

Senior Association Wednesday Tee Time
Granite Bay Senior Association - Wednesday Play Day Granite Bay has an Association of Senior Male Members that have a regular playing group taking place Wednesday mornings at 9 a.m. This group caters to 55 and over, please email Larry Ullman (gbgcseniors@gmail.com) to get more information about events and days of play. This association is made by members and welcome to all that meet criteria. Sign up by calling the pro shop referencing Wednesday Senior Association Play or via online registration via Invited App. Please sign up a minimum of the day before and denote which group you would like to play with. Groups have 3 options available, "Gamers", "Traditional", or "Just Playing".

Today's event is a 2 person scramble. Each team member will tee off, then pick the best one and hit again, continue this format until the ball is holed. We will use 50% of your handicaps. The lowest net score will win. Please sign up by Noon on Monday. Pairings will be send out by 5 p.m. If you sign up after noon on Monday, you will tee off in the back of the field. We will all start at 9:00 a.m. with a forward shotgun start. This means that we will start on holes, 1,2,3,4, etc. based on the number of ladies that sign up.
