2024 NCGA Team Play - Saturday Match #3
NCGA Team Play - Saturday Team - Match #3 Serrano @ Granite Bay Golf Club NCGA Team Play is a popular event amongst our members and around Northern California. This event puts 12 members from our Club vs. 12 members from other clubs, playing both home and away events. Players will play match play individually vs. a player from other Club as well as part of a two person team playing vs. another two person team from another Club. This format lends itself to great camaraderie amongst our members and also with guests from other Clubs. Within our division for 2024 NCGA Team Play (Saturday Team) are neighboring Clubs, Serrano Country Club, Winchester Country Club and Cameron Park Country Club. We are excited about this pairing as proximity is always a large factor in people's availability. Each Club will host the other three Clubs in your division, one on one, making 6 matches total. Based on record and points after these 6 matches, the division winning team will move forward to a regional competition. You may notice we have both Thursday AND Saturday Teams. Players may play for both or either team until playoffs (should teams qualify) and then must designate which team they are a part of. Entry Fee: $50 per player (billed home and away). Includes competition, carts, 2 beverages and food following play. 1:30 pm Shotgun Start @ GBGC Format, eligibility and event details all listed here. Glow Golf Saturday, June 1 | 7:30 pm Check-in & Dinner 8:45 pm Shotgun start - $65 per member Open to ALL Members Come out and enjoy your favorite game in the dark! For two nights a year, the course will glow in the dark & players will be using very bright golf balls to light the way. The format will be a two-person scramble. The price includes prizes, food, a specialty cocktail, & we will provide two LED golf balls per player. Sign up through the Invited App and don't miss out on this fun night! LGA - June Trophy Day
It's Trophy Day! We will be playing Low Gross, Low Net and Low Putts. you also can say you don't want to be in the event and play for just a score to post. This is a stroke play event. The lowest net score and 2nd place net score will be asked to compete in the finals in November for the big prize awarded at the December luncheon. Pairings will be done by handicap. Please sign up by Noon on Monday. Pairings will be send out by 5 p.m. If you sign up after noon on Monday, you will tee off in the back of the field. We will all start at 9:00 a.m. with a forward shotgun start. This means that we will start on holes, 1,2,3,4, etc. based on the number of ladies that sign up. LGA - Two Best Balls of the 4-Some
It's Two Best Balls of the 4-some. You can pick your team. This is a net event where everyone plays their own ball and you pick the two lowest net scores and that is your team score for that hole. Repeat this process for all 18 holes. The lowest score wins. Please note who you would like on your team in the notes sections. If you don't have a team, the golf shop will pair you with some new friends. Please sign up by Noon on Monday. Pairings will be send out by 5 p.m. If you sign up after noon on Monday, you will tee off in the back of the field. We will all start at 9:00 a.m. with a forward shotgun start. It's a fun team Shamble game. Everyone will drive the ball. The team will pick the best drive and then all play from that spot. Once you hit your second shot you will all play your own ball in. Granite Bay Senior Association - Wednesday Play Day Granite Bay has an Association of Senior Male Members that have a regular playing group taking place Wednesday mornings at 9 a.m. This group caters to 55 and over, please email Larry Ullman (gbgcseniors@gmail.com) to get more information about events and days of play. This association is made by members and welcome to all that meet criteria. Sign up by calling the pro shop referencing Wednesday Senior Association Play or via online registration via Invited App. Please sign up a minimum of the day before and denote which group you would like to play with. Groups have 3 options available, "Gamers", "Traditional", or "Just Playing".

Game: will be focused on Fun in the bunkers - Everyone gets One Sandy toss out of the bunker. 2024 NCGA Team Play - Thursday Match #3
NCGA Team Play - Thursday Team - Match #3 Granite Bay Golf Club @ Sierra View Country Club NCGA Team Play is a popular event amongst our members and around Northern California. This event puts 12 members from our Club vs. 12 members from other clubs, playing both home and away events. Players will play match play individually vs. a player from other Club as well as part of a two person team playing vs. another two person team from another Club. This format lends itself to great camaraderie amongst our members and also with guests from other Clubs. Within our division for 2024 NCGA Team Play (Thursday Team) are neighboring Clubs, Del Paso Country Club, Valley Hi Country Club and Sierra View Country Club. We are excited about this pairing as proximity is always a large factor in people's availability. Each Club will host the other three Clubs in your division, one on one, making 6 matches total. Based on record and points after these 6 matches, the division winning team will move forward to a regional competition. You may notice we have both Thursday AND Saturday Teams. Players may play for both or either team until playoffs (should teams qualify) and then must designate which team they are a part of. Entry Fee: $50 per player (billed home and away). LGA - Shamble Team Game
It's a fun team Shamble game. Everyone will drive the ball. The team will pick the best drive and then all play from that spot. Once you hit your second shot you will all play your own ball in. There will be a reduced handicap for this event. We will take the two lowest net scores of the group for your team scores. That will determine the winning team. Please sign up by Noon on Monday. Pairings will be send out by 5 p.m. If you sign up after noon on Monday, you will tee off in the back of the field. We will all start at 9:00 a.m. with a forward shotgun start.
