We offer 36 holes for our Members to perfect their game and enjoy time with each other. Jerry Matthews and Arthur Hills were behind our excellent golf facilities, and whether you're playing Matthews' traditional Championship Course or the challenging Honors Course that Hills devised, you'll walk off the course feeling challenged and satisfied that you improved your game. Additionally, the Championship Course has been recently renovated, so any Members who knew it before should come back and try it again, as Matthews has overhauled it tremendously, adding 49 bunkers to take advantage of the scenic beauty of Livingston County. And are you a skier? Take a cross-country trek across our courses when the weather doesn't allow you to pick up a club.
Oak Pointe gives Members dining experiences they won't find at other Clubs. Currently, Members can dine at the Pub, the Lakeview Dining Room, the Men's Grille or the 37th Hole. Additionally, our heated Lakeside Patio accommodates those who want an al fresco dining experience. Our Members remember our meals, and we're sure you will too.
Four lighted tennis courts, including two designated for the increasingly popular game of pickleball, keep Members fit and competitive. Oak Pointe's partnership with the United States Tennis Association helps sponsor the USA Tennis Plan for Growth, which keeps our Members engaged with the game of tennis — and improving their own. Both education and competition allow players to keep their game sharp and match skills with fellow Members in a fun social setting. No pressure here.
Oak Pointe takes a personal approach to Members' fitness experiences with our intimate, welcoming Fitness Center. The Club has updated our cardiovascular training equipment and resistance-training machines and free weights, and the fact that our Fitness Center overlooks beautiful Crooked Lake adds a sense of calm to the experience so Members can get fit and feel centered while doing it. Members can also engage in various classes and private or semi-private training sessions to keep on track with where they want to be from a physical fitness standpoint.
From leisurely lounging to a competitive swim team, the aquatic offerings at Oak Pointe are wide-ranging. Our Junior Olympic Pool allows for both freestyle fun and swimming laps, thanks to our designated lap lane. And, if your youngsters aren't quite ready for the big pool, they can take a dip in our zero-entry pool featuring fun fountains. Members of any age over 4 can take lessons, and if you want to swim competitively, consider joining our swim team, the Orcas, to put your water skills to a real test. Also enjoy a half basketball court near the pool, along with our beach volleyball court.
