Moises has devoted over thirty years to the restaurant business and has made incredible feats since moving to the states from his home country of Ecuador. In 1990, he moved from New York to California for an opportunity to work with his uncle who was an Italian chef at Beach Club in Santa Monica. During this time, he was concurrently attending Santa Monica College. Moises joined the ClubCorp team in 1991 as a prep cook at Porter Valley Country Club and thereafter worked at Braemar Country Club for five years. He became Executive Chef at Sunset Hills Country Club and then moved to Brookside Country Club in Pasadena. Moises wanted to build on his expertise and explore, expand, and deepen flavors in dishes; therefore, in 2010, he moved to Florida to work at Miami Shores Country Club. After this successful venture, he returned to Sunset Hills and in 2015, he returned to Porter Valley as Executive Chef.
