Pete comes to River Creek after managing Fords Colony Country Club, where he served a dynamic and diverse membership and a club that included 54 holes of golf, 2 restaurants and 3,000 homes surrounding the course in Williamsburg, Virginia. His previous club and hospitality experience includes General Manager at Redstick Country Club in Vero Beach, FL, General Manager at Rehoboth Beach Country Club in Delaware, General Manager at the City Club of Washington in DC, Chef and Manager at The Four Seasons Atlanta, Manager and Director of Banquets and Private Dining Sales at Maggiano’s in Chicago (Brinker International). In addition, Pete earned a culinary degree from the Art Institute of Atlanta and is a certified Executive Chef. Highlights of his culinary career include cooking for Madonna, Paul McCartney, two presidents and three first ladies. Pete enjoys spending his free time with his wife Kristin and two daughters Charlotte and Kate.

Originally from a small town in Western Massachusetts, Andy has spent the past 24 years in the hospitality industry; the last 18 of those in private country clubs. As a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, Andy has held leadership positions at clubs throughout the Southeast including; the Cherokee Town & Country Club in Atlanta, Georgia, the Standard Club in Duluth, Georgia, and the University Club in Memphis, Tennessee, Parkland Golf & Country Club in Florida, Belmont Country Club in Ashburn, and most recently, Dominion Valley Country Club in Haymarket.

Ramesh has been working in the golf industry since 2008 and has a true passion for the game. He bought his first set of clubs in April 1997, the day after Tiger Woods won The Masters and has been in love with golf ever since. Ramesh graduated from the McMullen Scholars Program at Calvert Hall College High School in 1993 and went on to attend Boston College, where he graduated in 1997. A former Creative Director for a graphic design firm, Ramesh also has been a Tour Director for an Amateur Golf Tournament Series, the President and Founder of a Type 3 USGA Club, and most recently, the Director of Membership at Eagle’s Nest Country Club in Phoenix, MD. He looks forward to helping grow the Membership at River Creek.

Melene has resided in Northern Virginia for the past 26 years. She joined River Creek Club in July 2017 as the Banquet Manager and after a year, was promoted to Private Events Coordinator. She graduated from George Mason in 2015 with a degree in Tourism and Events Management. During her time at George Mason, she interned with Breaux Vineyards in Purcellville, which inspired her love for wine. After her internship, she had the pleasure of working with the private events team at Clyde’s Restaurant Group in Ashburn. Melene currently lives in Ashburn with her parents. Other than her love for wine and exploring the growing NoVA wine country, she loves to find any excuse to be creative, spend time with her family and walk the hiking trails nearby. She looks forward to helping create memorable moments for your future events.

Ramon has been with River Creek Club for 12 years now. He started with River Creek as a banquet server and moved his way up to a dining room server, bartender, restaurant supervisor and we are excited to have promoted him to his current position as a Food & Beverage Manager. Ramon is extremely passionate about the member experience and works diligently on improving our standards of service for our team and members. Outside of work Ramon loves spending time with his family and friends.

Chef Daniel Leal’s career has literally taken him across the country. As a former “Chef to the Stars,” he has planned and prepared menus for a long list of some of America’s most popular entertainers-- Justin Bieber, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Brantley Gilbert, Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton, Weezer, Dolly Parton, SlipKnot, Lamb of God, Shinedown, Breaking Benjamin, Flight of the Conchords, Marilyn Manson, Garrison Keillor and the cast of “A Prairie Home Companion.” He has also been “Festival Chef” for such acclaimed music festivals as Gentleman of the Road and Carolina Rebellion.When asked about the reasons he enjoyed traveling with and cooking for musicians, he explained, “I loved being able to use fresh, local ingredients from so many different areas of the country. Matt grew up in Winchester where he started playing tennis with his brother at the age of 6. He moved to Leesburg, Va after graduating from the University of Richmond, where he was a four-year starter in both singles and doubles tennis.Matt began his coaching career at Ida Lee Tennis Center in 2010, but most recently was the Head Professional at the Ashburn Village Sports Pavilion. There he helped coach multiple ladies USTA League teams to the national championships, and also found a passion for developing talent with junior players. He believes in a simple philosophy that can be applied to players of all ages and skill levels; Hard Work + Good Routines = SUCCESS!Matt has been a part of two national championship USTA teams (10.0 mixed in 2017, and 9.0 mixed in 2018) and enjoys competing while expanding his skills and knowledge of the game tennis.

John Ronis has been teaching in the Middle Atlantic Section for over 20 years. He is well known for his development of junior golfers, who have played in over 10 USGA National Championships, including Match Play portions of those events. His service oriented approach and calm demeanor makes his teaching fun and enjoyable for all levels of players. His simplistic approach, and use of cutting edge technology has yielded results for thousands of students.John played his collegiate golf at The University of Connecticut, where he was a four year starter and 3 year captain.John is co host of "Sunday Tee Time" with Steve Czaban, on ESPN 980 and "The Capitol Golf Gang" podcast.

Scott grew up in Sterling VA and graduated from Park View HS. He then attended Fairmont State University WV, on a baseball scholarship. He began his golf career in 2002 as the Director of Instruction at the Sterling Park Golf Swim and Tennis Club as well as a lead instructor for Nike Golf Schools. He was an Outside Operations Manager and Caddiemaster at Trump National Washington DC before coming to River Creek in 2009. Scott is now an Assistant Golf Professional and Head of Golf Instruction at River Creek.
