Enjoy the ambience and beautiful atmosphere in the Mirage Room overlooking the lake and golf course, or the Sand Trap Grill with its beautiful view of the golf course and mountains.
The Mirage dining room has beautiful views of the lush green golf course, lakes and mountains. So that we may provide you with the excellent service you are accustomed to, reservations are requested for the Mirage Room and for special events.
For casual dining, the Sand Trap grill is a perfect place to meet and enjoy the camaraderie of Members in a relaxed atmosphere. Reservations are not required in the Sand Trap Grill.

Darnell Crowder has been in the restaurant industry for 16 years. He started as a server at Applebee’s is Santa Fe, NM and quickly rose through the ranks to become a certified trainer of servers, bartenders, and managers, and quickly became a manager. Darnell has managed multiple restaurants in Southern California and thoroughly loves customer service and interaction. With a background of studying biology and 25+ years of football, Darnell brings a different dynamic and management style to the club. Darnell was a member of SVLCC for 2 years prior to joining the team here and greatly looks forward to restoring the greatness of the club.

I’m a born-and-raised California native, but my professional life began with four years of service in the U.S. Navy on the east coast. I was stationed in Norfolk, Virginia from 1997-2001, and eventually discovered an interest in the culinary arts. I started out as a line cook, but my love of learning about making great food carried me to a wide variety of positions at a diverse array of Virginia restaurants over the years. My passion for this industry was eventually galvanized at THE JAMES RIVER COUNTRY CLUB in Newport News Virginia. Having recently come home to California after 17 years of southern hospitality and culinary training, I’m ecstatic about the opportunity to provide our members with a truly extraordinary dining experience as your Executive Chef bringing my Asian heritage of culinary experience to the table as well.
