TOY DRIVE for Deep Well Project
We will be collecting toys, books and/or new clothing for The Deep Well Santa Shop. This holiday program provides new clothing and new toys for about 700 local children each year. Each child receives 3-5 toys and books along with a new outfit or a winter jacket. Drop off your new, unwrapped gift at the clubhouse the week of November 29 - December 4. A wish list is forthcoming! The Deep Well Project has been helping neighbors in need since 1973. The organization was founded by Charlotte Heinrichs as a service to the local community that suffered illness as a result of drinking contaminated water from shallow wells. Over the decades, other needs evolved and so did "Deep Well" (as it's known on the island).
