About Michael
Michael is joining us at The National with extensive Golf, Tennis, Hospitality, and Membership background.
Michael has been with ClubCorp for the past 5 years as a General Manager. This will be Michael’s third GM position with ClubCorp. He joins us at The National after spending 2 successful years as the General Manager at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, CA, and the previous 3 years at Morgan Run Club & Resort in Rancho Santa Fe, CA.
Prior to being a member of the ClubCorp family Michael spent 2 years with the Bay Club Company in San Francisco as a VP/GM and held several Director of Golf and Head Professional roles over his 25-year club career. As a Class A member of the PGA of America and the Canadian PGA, Michael’s first passion is golf, with a focus on delivering the full club life experience that our members expect and deserve.


Chris Bell

About Chris
Chris was born and raised in a small town called Shotts 30 minutes south of St Andrews in Scotland, UK. His introduction to the game of golf started at the age of 13. After 3 years of practice, he became a scratch player and was called to play for the Scottish national team. Chris had the opportunity to come to the USA in 2011 to play college golf at Odessa College in Odessa, TX. After college he turned professional in 2013 working at 2 country clubs as an assistant professional and playing the North Texas PGA/Adams Tour. Alongside his golf career over the last few years Chris was selling safety equipment/first aid in the west Texas oilfield, before moving to Kansas City in late March 2022.


Jennifer Roberts

About Jennifer
Jennifer joined ClubCorp as the Private Events Director, bringing 25 years’ experience to The National and Deuce. She received her BS in Business before starting in hospitality at a private catering company as the Director of Operations and Sales, increasing revenue over 300% and landing on the “Best of KC” list six years before taking the position of Senior Director of Sales at SEMO in Cape Girardeau where she won the Salesperson of the Year. She later accepted the Director of Sales position at Adam’s Mark, where she won Salesperson of the Month by KC Bride. She appeared on KCTV as an expert in event planning and has catered events for Presidents and several rock groups, planned events from 2 guests to 3000, and operated her event planning business the entire time. She plans to continue this tradition of excellence by offering you a one-stop-shop for all your event needs.

About Paula
Paula has been with ClubCorp since 2019. She started her Club careers in Carmel, CA and made her way to Chicago, IL where she was the Director of Member Experience for Ravinia Green Country Club. She has over 20 years of event experience to bring to The National & The Deuce. She received her bachelors from ASU in Business Communication. She has also collected a certification in floral design and management and became a master mixologist while working in Las Vegas. She has held numerous roles in the hospitality industry as a travelling concert caterer for bands like Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones, and Madonna, executed prestigious world-class car and motorcycle shows for Pebble Beach Car Week, planned events from 5 - 50,000 people, and even owned a deli. It is her hope that her very diverse background will bring you a variety of experiences you'll want to be a part of.


Nic Ingram, PGA

About Nic
Nic joined The National Golf Club in 2013 serving as the Head Golf Professional and has progressed to his current role as Director of Golf overseeing both golf operations at The National and The Deuce since 2016. He is originally from northern Michigan, where he completed the Professional Golf Management Program at Ferris State University and has been a Class A PGA Professional since 2008. Throughout Nic’s career he has spent time in northern New Jersey at Hamilton Farm Golf Club as well as Naples, Florida at Naples Grande Golf Club and The Club at Mediterra. As a member of the Midwest Section PGA, Nic has been fortunate to be awarded with the Merchandiser of the Year – Private in 2017 as well as the Patriot Award in 2021. Nic resides in Riverside, Missouri with his wife, LaNette, and their two sons, Anderson and Cohen.


Charles Gibson, PGA

About Charles
Charles Gibson has recently joined our team as Head Golf Professional of The National Golf Club. He is a Kansas City native but recently moved back from Tulsa, OK. Charles graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Professional Golf Management program in 2010. He has been a Member of the PGA of America for the last 11 years as well as a Head Golf Professional for the last 8 years at Battle Creek G.C.. Charles has been a Titleist Staff Member since 2013, and has been teaching players of all skill levels for the last 15 years. Charles’s passion is providing exceptional customer service while delivering memorable experiences.


Josh Nahm

About Josh
Josh has been recognized over the last 10 years as one of the “Top 25 Golf Coaches in America for Junior Golf” by Future Champions Golf Since 2010, he has worked with more than a dozen AJGA All-Americans, 15 AJGA tournament winners and 10 state champions. In addition to those staggering numbers, more than 50 of Josh’s students have gone on to receive golf scholarships at universities including Oklahoma, KU, Arizona State, Miami, Nebraska and Southern Illinois. In addition to juniors, Josh also works with a number of professional golfers. His students played on the PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, Korn Ferry Tour, Symetra Tour and many more. In 2019, Josh’s students won 6 professional events around the world and had over 30 Top 10 finishes.


Jack Meyers

About Jack
Jack Meyers has been in the food and beverage industry since he was 16 years old. Jack moved to Chicago to manage the dining facilities at the Paramount Hotel and worked his way up to the position of Food & Beverage Director. Jack moved to Kansas City in 1991, and worked for several restaurants on the Country Club Plaza. Prior to joining the National as Director of Food & Beverage in 2018, Jack was the General Manager at Hereford house for 16 years. Jack and his wife, Dayna have been married since 1999, live in Shawnee, Kansas and have two children- daughter , Sonni, and son, Dylan.

About Allie
Allie is our People Leader (HR) from the Springfield, MO area and graduated from Missouri State University with a degree in Spanish and minor in Business. She worked her way into an HR role with Sam’s Club and found a true passion as a HR professional. Allie moved to Kansas City in December of 2017 to begin working with The National and Deuce Golf Clubs of Kansas City, among other properties.
Aside from her everyday duties, Allie enjoys spending time with her family, dogs (Jimmy & Louie) and traveling. She is an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and the St. Louis Cardinals. Since her tenure here at the Clubs, she has embraced the golf world and is enjoying learning the game.

About Gary
Gary has been the Director of Golf Course Maintenance for The National and The Deuce Golf Clubs for the past 2 years. Prior to working at The National, Gary spent 10 years at Nicklaus Golf Club in Overland Park where we hosted 8 web.com PGA tour events.
Gary and his wife Jill have three children; Jack (23), Mitch (21), and Gretta (18). They also have a dog named Archie (1) who chases geese and runs the course with him each day.
He thoroughly enjoys working at the clubs and it is his goal to make this facility the envy of other clubs and the club that other people want to join in the Kansas City area.

About Michael
Michael received his culinary degree through Johnson County Community College and began working at Hallbrook Country Club. where he quickly advanced to the Executive Sous Chef position. Chef Michael comes to The National Golf Club most recently from the Nicklaus Golf Club at Lions Gate, where he has held the Executive Chef title since last year. Michael has done an outstanding job for our company at Lions Gate and he is more than ready to take on the challenge of our larger and more exclusive membership, and to expand our culinary offerings and quality.
Chef Michael conveys his love of food through his cooking talents, bringing innovative ideas wherever he goes. He is always looking for the connection between family favorite and innovative techniques to create an elevated dining experience for his membership.
