Yardage by Tee:

BLACK 529

GOLD 447

GREEN 392

Pro Tips

This uphill par 5 offers players a decision off the tee; long hitters can go right of the fairway bunker to try and reach the green in two, while shorter players should go left. The green on this hole is three-tiered, so being on the correct level is rewarded.

Tee shots on the third must favor the right side, as a severe drop-off to the left will punish anything in that direction. The approach into this green will play slightly downhill.

BLACK 556

Pro Tips

The sixth is the longest hole on the golf course. Long hitters can shorten the hole by taking their tee shot to the right, but risk having trees block out their second if not hit far enough. The second shot will get a lot of roll as it heads steep downhill. Layups should favor the right side to take the heavily guarded left side of the green out of play.

Pro Tips

The ideal tee shot on this par 4 is down the right side of the fairway. This will leave players a good angle to the green that’s guarded by front and back bunkers. Approach shots should stay left of the pin, as the green has two tiers and slopes from left to right.

Pro Tips

The tenth hole is a straightaway par 4, with Fourmile Creek crossing in front of the tee and snaking its way down the entire left side of the fairway and behind the green. Players must be careful not to favor the right side off the tee too much, as it brings a chance of being blocked out by the Carolina Pines right of the fairway.

The tightest tee shot greets players on this par 4. PGA seniors once called this hole “Nightmare on Elm,” in reference to the street on the right. A creek also runs down the right side of the hole from tee to green where it becomes a pond that protects the green. Players will need to keep their golf ball away from the water as the green slopes left to right.

Handicaps:
Men's 14 Women's 6

Yardage by Tee:

BLACK 540

BLUE 489

GOLD 450

GREEN 384

WHITE 351

Pro Tips

The closing hole is a true risk-reward par 5; the more a player challenges Mitchell Pond, the shorter they’ll have into the green. Conservative players will aim towards the right bunker off the tee and play down the right side to give themselves the best angle into the green. Approach shots need to navigate a long greenside bunker on the right and water around the rest of the putting surface.
