The tennis facilities at White Columns are among the best in the area. White Columns Country Club currently offers ten lighted tennis courts for member enjoyment. We have eight hard courts and two clay courts. We offer a year-round program for Adults and Juniors which includes:
- ALTA/USTA Team Play
- Socials and In-House Team Events
- Open Drills for Adults
- Year-round Junior Instructional Program
- Ball Machine Use
The Club offers team lessons for all Adult League Teams, Open Drills arranged by level, a year-round Junior Instructional Program that includes Summer Tennis Camps, Cardio Tennis, Beginner Tennis Lessons and of course Private Tennis Lessons to help you with your game. Along with ALTA/USTA team play, we have a year-round Tennis Calendar that involves themed events and drills and provides for great social interaction between the members. The club also offers racquet restringing and repairs.

Rj Dunkle joined the White Columns CC staff as the Head Tennis Professional in January 2013. Rj has been a USPTA certified instructor for 29 years and loves to work with all levels of players. Rj has worked at 2 Major clubs in Atlanta (Dunwoody Country Club 1991-1996 and BridgeMill Athletic Club 2004-2012). In between these clubs Rj owned his own business as an Independent Tennis Professional and also worked in Australia for a year. Originally from Dayton, Ohio. Rj went on to playing College tennis at Western Michigan University. After having a great College career by setting the record for most wins in Western Michigan history he went on to playing on the ATP tour for 3 years. Rj has been inducted into the Dayton Tennis Hall of Fame and also the Western Michigan University Hall of Fame. Rj still loves to compete in ALTA/ National Senior Events and enjoys an occasional round of Golf.

Brian grew up in Florida playing Junior Tennis and College Tennis at Florida Southern College. He helped the Mocs earn a Top 10 National ranking at the DII level. After graduating with a Marketing degree in 2011, Brian pursued both his marketing degree and his love for Tennis. After a year, Brian decided to go full time Tennis and eventually became the Head Tennis Professional at RDV Sportsplex in Orlando FL. He later moved to Atlanta and joined Midtown Athletic Clubs where he held the position of Director of Junior Tennis for 4 years before making the move to White Column’s. Brian occasionally plays ALTA and has become a city champion at AA-4, AA-3 and AA-1. Brian enjoys developing young juniors, adult beginners and everything in between. He enjoys the process of progression and loves working with players eager to learn! Brian follows the principles of situational coaching, cooperative to competitive learning and lessons centered around game play.

A certified USPTA tennis professional - Jeff was the Tennis Director at Harmony on the Lakes, developing their junior tennis program along with coaching all of the Adult Programs, including ALTA and USTA teams.Jeff has been a coach for the Creekland Middle School / USTA feeder program and more recently a Senior Tennis Professional at Woodmont Golf and Country Club.A former VP of Juniors for the Cherokee Tennis Association, Jeff is highly motivated, with excellent communication skills and a lifelong passion for the sport of tennis. He is also very committed to the latest teaching techniques by continuing his USPTA education while attending professional workshops. Providing great enthusiasm and creativity will assist in helping tennis players of all ages reach their full potential.It’s a pleasure to be a part of the White Columns tennis staff. I love the great energy and atmosphere the players provide, along with the wonderful facility!

Taylor is USPTA certified tennis professional originally from Nashville, Tennessee. He is a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Public Relations. Taylor trained at Van Der Meer Tennis Academy from a young age. He went on to play high school tennis at Montgomery Bell Academy and later at Franklin Road Academy, both in Nashville. Taylor played college tennis at Auburn University before moving back to Nashville. He worked with High Performance junior players at Richland in Nashville before moving to Atlanta and working for Universal Tennis Academy. Taylor then went to Silvia Tennis Academy to run their Junior Development program, with a specialty in developing high-performance players. Taylor brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in working with Elite level juniors and aspiring college players. Taylor has been at White Columns for 4.5 years.
