Our Story

Ralph E. Fair Senior was an internationally known oilman and rancher. His original 14,000-square-foot ranch historic, built in the 1930s, is now the center of the Club. Constructed with native Texas Hill Country river-rock, the home offers one of the most unique and beautiful Club facilities in the Southwest. Fair Oaks Ranch Golf & Country Club opened its doors in 1978.

A Texas Hill Country Club

The rolling terrain, native oak trees, wildlife and wildflowers of Fair Oaks Ranch Golf & Country Club exemplify nature’s best work, enhanced by the truly exquisite golf and tennis environment at our Club. The Club opened its doors in 1978, using the original 14,000-square-foot ranch home of Ralph E. Fair Sr., an internationally known oilman and rancher, as the center of the Club. The home, built in the 1930s, is constructed with native Texas Hill Country river rock and contains about 20,000 square feet of spacious high-ceiling rooms, offering one of the most unique and beautiful club facilities in the Southwest.

As the residential community grew into the City of Fair Oaks Ranch (incorporated in 1988), the Club created an oasis and a home away from home for the residents, Members and guests.
