Project Scope

We are thrilled to announce some exciting renovations and upgrades coming to our racquet sports facility over the next few months! These improvements will elevate the facilities and add the fastest-growing sport to TPC Piper Glen.

Pickleball Courts

We will start on the current Court #8 to transform it into four permanent, concrete courts. This project will conclude by May 10.

Fencing Refresh

We will improve all fencing, including replacing the wiring on all courts, installing new full-length windscreens, sanding, and painting the poles and gates. These changes will enhance the aesthetics of the fencing. We will start on courts 1 & 2 on Monday, then move in numerical order. We plan to do as much focused work on two courts simultaneously to minimize disruption. We expect two courts to take about 7-10 days to complete. Weather will play a factor in the timeline, but our contractor has a large workforce and will work seven days a week to complete this project as soon as possible. There will be a few days where more than two courts will be out of service, but no more than four courts and for no more than a couple of days. Please note that the electric will be turned off on some or all of the courts periodically while the work is being performed, which may impact evening play. We will be closing courts on Court Reserve, so please refer to the reservation site to see if courts are available to be played on and to reserve.

LED Lighting Installation

We will install LED lights all at once at the conclusion of the pickleball courts and completion of fencing. The contractor is confident as long as the weather is cooperative to be finished no later than May 10.

Landscaping Beautification

The area surrounding our tennis courts will undergo a makeover, including removing old railroad ties and introducing fresh landscaping elements. Additionally, walkway improvements will be made. We expect this to start the week of April 15, and since we are using multiple contractors, the completion of this project will take longer than the completion of the above items. However, we will not have to take any of the courts out of service when the landscaping work is being performed.

New Patio Furniture

We will purchase brand-new patio furniture to enjoy post-match refreshments and socialize with your fellow Members. We expect these to arrive by mid-May.

Tennis Shop Upgrades

We will add a new counter and fixtures to our tennis shop, making browsing and purchasing your favorite gear and equipment even more convenient. This will be an early May project.
