Mike has been part of the team since 2006. He was raised in Huntingdon Valley, then lived and worked in Pittsburgh for 9 years, including three years spent as an Assistant Professional at the Pittsburgh Field Club and six years as the Director of Golf at Edgewood Country Club. Before his move to Pittsburgh, Mike also spent three years as an Assistant Professional at Whitemarsh Valley Country Club. Mike is a graduate of Villanova University and has six children: Jean, Michael, Peter, Robert, Mark and Sally.

Ann Markowitz

As the newest member of the team, Ann Markowitz joined the North Hills C.C. team in May, 2019. Prior to joining the club, Ann worked for the Union League of Philadelphia where she held numerous roles during her 19 year tenure. Ann started as an Event Coordinator where she oversaw member activities and events. From there, she went on to work in the Executives offices of the League as the Executive Assistant to the General Manager. During her tenure in the Executive offices, the Union League acquired Frankford-Torresdale C.C. in 2014, where she took on the role of Director of Private Events and Membership at the Union League Golf Club at Torresdale. She was responsible for all Private events, Member events and cultivating golf memberships. With 20+ years of experience in hospitality, Ann is bringing her knowledge of the private-club world and looks forward to developing new relationships while connecting with members and perspective members.

Ann was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA and attended Peirce College and The Restaurant School of Philadelphia. Ann now lives in Huntingdon Valley, PA with her fabulous husband Craig and two amazing daughters Alyssa and Lauren.

Mark joins North Hills Country Club as the Private Event Director, offering years of experience in meeting and event planning, specializing in the customer service and customer satisfaction, weddings, and celebrations. Mark’s experience, passion for events and attention to detail make him the perfect person to plan and coordinate your event. Mark will bring his style sensibility and his knowledge of the latest industry trends to make your vision a reality. Whether you are hosting a banquet, celebrating an anniversary or planning the day of your dreams, Mark's eye for perfection will have your guests praising your special event for years to come. Originally from Syracuse, NY, Mark lived in New York City for 20 years working at such prestigious venues as Carnegie Hall and The Beacon Theater. Mark also spent many years in the recording and music industry. Mark lives in Glenside, PA with his wife and two daughters and still plays bass with his original rock band.

Adam Judeh is a 10 year veteran of the food and beverage industry with an additional 10 years in Hotel Management. As the Food and Beverage Director for North Hills Country Club, Adam not only brings his significant experience and leadership but also a passion to provide next level service to our members.

Adam has a wealth of hospitality experience to include the Sheraton Sacramento, Hyatt Sacramento, and Hyatt Bellevue in Philadelphia. Most recently Adam served as the Food and Beverage Director of Fond in South Philadelphia where, as part of the leadership team, he was responsible for all Food and Beverage operations for this upscale restaurant.

Adam was born and raised in Holland, Netherlands and Jordan in the Middle East. He returned back to Holland for college where he attended International School of Hotel Management. His hospitality career began as Front Desk Agent and he continued to work his way up as Graveyard Shift Supervisor, Guest Services Manager, Executive Housekeeper then transitioning to Food & Beverage.

In his free time, Adam enjoys golfing, snowboarding, biking, cooking and dining his way through the local food scene with his fiance Danielle.

Steve Friedell

Steve joined the team at North Hills in February of 2017.  Previously, he was the golf course superintendent at Hershey’s Mill Golf Club in West Chester for 16 seasons.  A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a BA in communications, Steve worked as the sports director for the University’s radio station and was the play by play announcer for Pitt football and basketball over two seasons.  

Although broadcasting was a viable career option upon graduation, Steve chose to attend the Rutgers University Turfgrass Program for a certification in turf management.  He became the superintendent at Hershey’s Mill two months after graduation.  Steve and his wife Lori have one son (Ben).
